This fabric is rayon cotton satin, dyed by two methods:
- Kaki shibu some: persimmon puckery duyed fabric ammd has high water proofing, antiseptic, and insect repellent properties.
- Kuresome: the fabric that has color closely resembles the sky at dusk. After dyeing the materials under dyed with persimmon tannin and further dyeing it with iron-containing water called kure, it becomes a deep black color.
