Lanh My A - a legendary silk of Vietnam (Lanh My A - ベトナムの伝説的なシルクです)

Lanh My A is a unique silk satin dyed in a dye solution made from the latex of Diospyros Mollis, a rare tree common in Southern Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. It comes from Tan Chau, An Giang, Viet Nam, dating back to the early 20th century, and is now a hundred years old. 

During the golden age the 1990s, Lanh My A was exported to France, Hong Kong and other countries. In the old times, clothes made from My A were the dream of many young women and ladies, and were also a luxurious gift.

Lanh My A は、ベトナム南部、カンボジア、ラオス、タイ、ミャンマーでよく見られる希少な樹木、ディオスピロス モリスの乳液から作られた染料溶液で染められたユニークなシルク サテンです。ベトナムのアンザンにあるタンチャウで作られ、その起源は20世紀初頭に遡り、現在では100年の歴史があります。 

1990 年代の黄金時代には、Lanh My Aはフランス、香港、その他の国に輸出されました。昔には、Lanh My Aで作られた衣服は多くの若い女性や淑女の憧れであり、贅沢な贈り物でもありました。

The white silk, after being processed and woven using a unique handmade method, hundreds of times, dyeing then drying - drying then dyeing for about 1~2 months, took on a natural glossy black color, was shiny and durable.

独自の手作り手法で加工・織り上げた白い絹は、染色→乾燥→乾燥→染色を約1～2ヶ月かけて数百回繰り返し、自然な光沢のある黒色となり、光沢があり耐久性に優れていました。

What's more special about Lanh My A is that the more you wear it, the more glossy black it becomes, highlighting the elegant beauty of the wearer. In the summer, it gives the wearer a cool feeling and in the winter, this is the perfect heat-retaining material under a thick fur coat. Therefore, "Lanh My A" is called "the queen of silk" in Vietnam.
